One man band: Creating content harmony by balancing UX, accessibility and SEO

Let’s face it, in higher ed almost no one has a full content team with individual roles for a UX researcher, accessibility expert and search engine optimization guru, all advising a web writer and editor. Instead, what is traditionally thought of as multiple roles, falls to just one or two people, who still need to create content that is user-friendly, accessible and searchable. So how do we do three jobs at once? Well the truth is that you don’t have to. Accessibility, UX and even SEO all have elements that overlap and support each other. Once you know this, all that’s left is a solid strategy that gives you a good foundation. Then you just need to include any missing pieces and you’re ready to create content harmony in your one-man band.
