Incorporating accessibility into the procurement process

Ensuring digital accessibility starts long before software is in use — it begins at procurement. Learn how Illinois State University incorporates accessibility reviews into their purchasing process through a collaborative effort between our technology, accommodations, and purchasing departments. This poster session will explore how a proactive review process was created, the challenges we encountered, and how we overcame organizational and technical barriers.
