Due to the last couple of years dealing with the pandemic, many institutions now face decreased enrollments, and keeping students engaged is more important than ever. Indiana University found no better way to engage students than having some skin in the game. The University Information Technology Services department created a student outreach project where students play a key role in adopting IT initiatives. It has proven to be an effective and efficient way to get their involvement, feedback and, most importantly, their “buy-in.” Ryan Vallow, lead business analyst, Enterprise Systems Integration, discusses the process and demonstrates the final product solution based on their findings.
